Review by hotel critic
Nestled amidst the waves of Hikkaduwa, my recent stay offered a mesmerizing blend of traditional charm and modern comforts. The stunning landscape of the setting sun painted the perfect backdrop for a vibrant, yet relaxing holiday in paradise. As a tea plantation owner and enthusiast, I seek moments of tranquility, complemented by a touch of adventure. The surfboard I rented from a nearby surf shop fulfilled my craving for excitement, as I enjoyed the therapeutic rhythm of the waves. Ensuring a seamless experience, the hotel's efforts to stay in touch with guests' needs were commendable, with safety features including a carbon monoxide detector and a security system. The town, alive with batik shops and handicraft stores, offered a glimpse into the rich local culture. The seasoned staff, with over 25 years at the property, embodied hospitality at its finest. It was reassuring to witness their dedication and expertise, making my stay truly memorable. If you seek a harmonious blend of tranquility and exploration, this destination holds the promise of a remarkable getaway.
